Ok so i have been waiting since december of last year for my RS 3.0.. its stil lnot here. my dealer had ordered one too.. he ended up buying hte RS 2.0 tC instead b/c that came in before the RS 3.0 xbs? WTH is up with that. they said all cars are delayed b/c of the stupid FJ cruiser or watever but everyone seems to be getting hte 2.0 tCs instead.. I just want my damn box . LOL

 

I saw one sitting in the Toyota dealer lot for sale last Friday. April 21, 2006 in downtown Salt Lake City.

There were 4 RS 3.0 in Nashville and all were sold.

 

I'd check with some other dealers.I've seen two at dealers here in NJ.

 

Have you put money down? I can't imagine why in the world they cannot tell you for sure whether or not they are being allocated one. Have they tried a dealer exchange (DX) for you? As I found out, a dealer's reputation with other dealers really comes into play when doing DX's. I would try talking to another dealer.

 

i feel your pain, it was agony waiting for my box. /the dealer never seemed to know what was going on.

 

I saw a brand new RS3 xB this morning. I have seen several of them around. You are being fed a line. Not sure what you mean by waiting since December. The RS xBs have all come out in March at the earliest.

 

Pre-Order maybe...? I dont know... That's BS though, if you ordered it way ahead of time you should have gotten it once it came out.

Yet, I haven't gotten my Box yet but I called Sunday and they told me it was in Indonisia (sp? go gives a f***). Oh wells they said that they were going to assemble it over there and since I've been calling and calling they are just going to bring it over here and assemble everything in one day. So the expected date for the vehicle to arrive in San Jose, CA is this Wednesday... By Friday... they should be done? Maybe Saturday.

What I'm basically saying is... Call, Call, CALL! Bug the crap out of them... Demand what you've ordered. ^_^

 

I saw one at the the scion dealer in torrance, CA yesterday. Not up on a display, and not parked in the showroom area. It's outside next to 3 tcm's and a bsp--which means its just sitting there waiting to be sold.

 

ya i have money down.. no dealers in are area are geting them though it seams at least thats what im told.. in fact dealers have called looking for them. shrug but id had alrady bought a tC from this guy and he is a great friend so id rather buy from him..

 

I think the dealer meant Benecia. That's where Bay Area Toyota dock is. Mine was in Benecia dock for more than 2 weeks and took another few weeks to go from Benecia to Maita Scion in Sacto... Hope you get yours soon!!

 

I feel bad for all of you guys that are waiting for the RS3...I'm not being an a$$ either...I just wanted a black one but they didn't have anything in stock but the one RS3...so I took that lol

Drive by one every day just sitting at the dealer in St Charles IL, not that bad a drive from where you are, have them dealer trade for it! I was wondering if they aren't selling all that well, it's been there about a month now.

 

The one I saw on the lot a month ago in Cornona was loaded with extras and dealer pack and totaled 20 big ones---maybe thats why that one is sitting....

 

They added some rims for $1500 I think, but if I wanted an RS3, that wouldn't stop me.
