Default Rear Emblem removal

Hello All,

I have a Scion XA that i would like to remove the rear emblem. I searched the posts and found that the TC's rear emblem is held on by two sided sticky tape. Is the emblem on the XA the same? I would think so but before I take a screw driver to the emblem and damage it, I would like to know for sure. How about the small XA emblem?

Thanks

They should all be the same. If you warm it up with a hair dryer for a while it comes off easier. Also, make sure you wrap the screw driver with a towel or something to keep from scratching anything.

i believe theres a write up in the tech section. u should check it out. and dont use a screw driver. use dental floss or fishing wire instead.

After heating it up a little with a hair dryer, wrap some dental floss around a couple of small pieces of wood and slide it behind the emblem. After you get it off, use some googone or similar product to remove any remaining adhesive.
