Default Rear Sidemarkers

How do you remove the factory Sidemarkers? I got some clear UNIVERSAL SIDE MARKERS that i want to throw on.

Its easiest to unbolt the rear bumper cover to unbolt the rear side markers. All you need is a 10mm socket and rachet.

Remove the bolt by the rear tires, the ones you see when you open the hatch, and the ones underneath that hold the bumper and rear lip in place. Pull out slightly, and set the whole assembly on a blanket on the ground.

Unplug the wireloom, unplug the light bulb, unbolt the side marker, and re-install.

Of course, if you aren't using a marker for Toyotas, you'll have to "T" tap or slice the wires in place and shrinkwrap them.

Shouldn't take long at all.

cool thanks for the info i seen the bolt you were talking about when i got under the car, it's just hard work around with dirt falling in your eyes LOL. I don't even no if the sidemarkers i got will cover that hole??? Their thinner than the factory ones.
