I dont know if this has been posted yet but I just received an email from my regional rep and this is what the RS3 xB will consist of:
xB Release Series 3.0 will begin a 3-month production run with Januarry PPR1. The total TMS guide at 2,121 units

1) Shamrock Mica (6U1)
2) Grill
3) Unique Wheel covers
4)Rear Spoiler
5)Alpine Audio/DVD head unit w/ monitors in the headrests-PPO(optional)
6)Alpine Speakers
7)Alarm w/ Radar Sensor-PPO(optional)
XM Satellite Radio-PPO(optional)
9)Numbered Badge
I dont know how true this is but it came from my Scion rep so who knows

 

i may seriously think about trading in mine if this is the case.

The only thing I dont understand is why would they use alpine components when they obviously have contracts w/ Pioneer.Another thing is w/ XM satelite radio you hafta pay for the service...on the other hand, it seems that all the alpine components except for the speakers and XM radio and even the Alarm w/ Radar Sensor is all items that CAN be installed, not a standard on the vehicle.

 

Few questions...

What does PPR1 mean?
So can we expect the cars to hit the dealers?

I figure they should start getting them out in Cali around mid feb if everything goes according to schedule.

Just called my salesman. He had no clue about them. He asked me to come in in December to put down a deposit if I wished.

 

Yea, I doubt theres too much info out about it yet. Like I said, this list could be changed at any minute in time by Toyota if it is indeed the real RS3 color and contents.

 

i still believe in my heart hotlava is by far the best color xb in my opinion if i was not lied to i would own hotlava instead of tcm
