Has anyone ever towed a 13' Scamp travel trailer with an xB? They weigh 950 lbs. and I was thinking of getting one for camping.

I dont know that you can safely tow with the xB, if you look under it, there really isnt anything to attach a tow bar/hitch to, and the reinforcement back there is pretty slim.

If you are able to rig something up, lemme know, I sure havent been able to get it to work.

xb states no towing but it's capable of about 1k. so a 950 trailer will prob be over once u add your camping supplies.

950lb would be too much IMO...500-750lb would be better, remember our Boxes can barely pull themselves, let alone a trailer, camping gear and people...

The weight limit in the xB is 800 lbs if Im not mistaken, and although towing is frowned upon by Scion, I think Curt makes a hitch specifically for the xB.

I'm thinking they weigh under 1500lbs but it's only at slow speeds. Plus that one xB had a huge turbo on it.

i have seen a class 1 trailer hitch for the xB on ebay for about 100 before, i dont know if i would tow something like that, i think the most i would tow with an xB is like a jet ski, or maybe a bike but that would be cutting it close, i think i heard beforre that the xB has a weight limit of 850 lbs...
