Default Scion decals

Does anyone know where to find a scion decal that would fit on the front brake caliper? ( 3-1/2" X 3/8" more or less )

If you put vinyl on your brake calipers it will just heat up shrivle and melt. If you want anything on your caliper your gonna have to paint it. Vinyl does not hold up to high temps.

You could alway have the letters machined into the caliper and then paint the recesses to highlight the name.

that decal on the calipers is really a show only use....you go to the show place it on for looks then take it off after...because heat is a factor and vinyl...can only take so much

your better painting it on...thats what i plan to do

Thanks for advice, looks like painting is the way to go. If I screw it up, I can always paint over it and try again.

you can get a vinyl stencil then use the vinyl stencil to paint scion on your calipers, that would be the cheapest way to go.

They have special decals for calipers that are High temperature at xenonmods.

If they don't have what you want they will create it for you

I am in the process of contacting the administrators on this board, but I actually specialize in custom brake caliper sticker decal graphics for a bunch of different cars, and I want to do the Scions. I do not make much money off of these, really just covering the cost obviously to buy them, shipping, and a dollar or two to cover the time of answering emails and questions.

Here is my temp web site:

http://whalebone.elon.edu/mma460/jva...ject/index.htm

Go to BRAKE CALIPER STICKERS, then go to a car model like MITSUBISHI (so you can get an idea of what they look like) and check out the Flash movie I made to see which color combos you like. I am making these as we speak for the Scions. I am still looking for a picture of the front and back calipers, but I want to make SCION for the front and xB or whatever model the person owns on the back.

Let me know if anyone would be interested.

Here is what they will look like. Will even add the Scion Logo before the words if preferred. Trying to keep it short though bc the caliper is pretty small.

Nope, made of a high performance vinyl. Had mine on for over 4 yrs now and they are still flawless. The ultra high heat resistant caliper paint chipped off yet these caliper stickers still held strong. Best investment / cheapest mod you could ever make.

Looks good, did you paint your caliper to match the color of your car and then just put the sticker on?

Yes, I painted the caliper with high temp engine paint and then added the decal. I have driven around quit a bit and have not seen any problems with the decal. Looks like Jason at JVD Graphics has it all worked out. I did get any extra set of decals just in case I messed it up removing and putting on the wheels. ( I do that alot detailing the wheels and udercarrige before car shows )
