Default Scion FREAK???

This bothers me a bit. Whenever i see another Scion, XA, XB, TC, especially XA Rs... i get excited, and i try to wave hi. I have total Scion Pride. Sometimes I feel like these other people just think I am weird.

Just wondering if anyone gets excited, like I do, when i see another Scion.

Yeah, the Xb owners around here are not very friendly. It is mainly because they are all atleast 55+.

I have only met 2 Scion ownes that we as pumped as me to own one.

I usually look over at other xb's as they go by, if they look over/make eye contact, I'll wave/smile/whatever...I don't see many tc's, xa's almost never.

I passed an xB on the highway the other day. Both older ladies were lookin' at me with a grin as wide as mine.
Last week, a BCP tC passed me like I was sittin' still...
I wave to my neighbor, with her dark grey (FM?) xB all the time. I always get a big smile.
I've found a BCP tC about a block away from where I work. I have since changed my "test drive" to include a "drive by"...
Twice now, I've seen a IIP with enkei 18's in the parking lot across the street...and today a FM in the same lot!! I keep telling myself I'll meet these people someday...

Xb's run rampid around my way. Like I said before 80% of them that I see are all older. But no matter what, i always find myself parking next to them when i see them (or any scion). I think a line of Scions just looks so nice.

I need a digital image of what I see in my head as I drive the freeway. Picture this:

little red flag banners hovering over each car as it's going along. The banners contain the make/model/special characteristics of each car kinda like how the Terminator saw things. As all these banners are floating down the road, you'll see a few that jump out and catch your eye, the flashing green banners that say things like [BCP xA, wheels, tint] [RS2 xB] [IIP tC, spoiler, CF Hood]

i live in CT and see a good clip of scions around (esp working right near a dealership, i see them around town all the time) but I went to maine last weekend and only saw probably 3 scions the whole 5-hour ride... 2 tc's and an xB. it seems like i almost NEVER see xA's around - which is sad, especially when the dealer near my work has two RS1's and an RS2 out in front.

great thing was this weekend, i found the xB in traffic and they had the licence plate "BXYCAR". I rolled up next to them and got their attention so they'd roll the windows down - think they were a little puzzled at first, but I had to tell them I loved their plate, and I think at that point they also realized I was riding in my xA and they were totally cool. Was a very cool encounter in an otherwise frustrating traffic jam, at least it kept me smiling for a while

Here in FL alot of old people drive Scions, especially xB's. But for the most part they are friendly when I honk at them and wave. Its a community, i love it.

I was leaving the movie theater one night and someone in a xB was a few lanes over, we were at a red light. I heard a beep beep but didn't imeadiately look. Then when I looked over I saw the driver looking over and smiling, i gave a wave. Other than that i don't see any other xA's in my area, mostly xB's and some tc's.

My dad has an xB and lives in NJ he get's waves from other xB's mostly while on the Garden State Parkway.

I wave to every scion I see... judging by the lack or responses, clearly they think either I am some kind of stalker, or just plain phukced in the head.

its good to hear that there are other like me. it does seem like most people are friendly with others with the same style car. I wonder whats up with the TC's? My friend has one, he is cool. I guess it all just depends on the area. Thanks for sharing!!

I used to think it was weird when guys on motorcylces used to kinda salute, or wave, or acknowledge (whatever you want to call the two finger and thumb hand gesture) eachother. Now that I am an owner of a xB I find myself doing it to other xB's I pass on the road. So far they all have waved back.

I have to agree with you on this one because I don't feel the need to acknowledge the xAs and never see them wave to me. Around town here there are a few xB's and even less xA's (I have yet to see a tC). As a matter of fact, the local taxi company owns like four or five xBs. One is primarily BSP but it has some parts that appear to be SY (hood, doors, etc.). The drivers of the xB taxi's even wave when I drive by.
I know I am proud to be a Scion owner but even prouder to own a xB!

TO each their own. That just seems a little stuck up. It reminds me of the way people explain TC drivers. The whole "I'm better then you attitude". But perhaps I would feel the same way if i tried to say hi multiple times to a certin driver, and they still ignored me, maybe I'd be a little jaded to.

I do the same finger hand wave as well. I find it funny. But at the same time I feel a bit of unity. But i do that to any Scion driver, not just Xa's. But i understand Model Unity, but i have Scion pride.

i acknowledge (wave "hey we drive scions") every scion driver i see. same as i did when i owned my last car, an audi. i believe there are reasons we buy what we buy. scion buyers are generally kinda "thinker" types..hehe. ya know, the a drivers do not give a wave as often as the b drivers....hmmm
