Default Scion xB featured in painting at Pebble Beach Coucours d'Ele

Hey guys, just found this in the September R&T mag.

More Motta

R&T Art Editor Emeritus Wm A. Motta's latest painting, Concours de'Libby Claire (acryllic on canvas, 20"x36"), features one of his granddaughters and his new Scion xB. The original will be shown for the first time at this year's AFAS show at the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance, August 20.

Its a painting! I bet that the prints can be ordered somewhere... I found more information about Motta here:
http://www.carartinc.com/products.as...tmp=2&menu=C96

If anyone can find a link to purchase the prints that would be helpful!

Amazing how "square" the xB looks compared to the other vehicles in the painting...

That's exactly why I like it. It is different than most cars (current and older).
My '85 Caddy Eldorado also has very sharp lines (but not quite like the box).

Iriicelboy:

Nice painting, but how come your xB looks so round and curvacious? Like a Camry. Or is that a tC?
Just kiddin' - very nice!

<--- Also an artist... though I can't do mechanical designs that well. Kudos on all the art shown here though.

As for the original painting on the post, I think it's neat how much respect the xB's get from the 'classic' guys. I've seen many older/hot rod guys who really appreciate them. Unlike how most car cultures stay in their own circles.
