Should I Buy an xB with a VSC/Trac Light Issue?
My family and I really want an xB and are going to test drive this one tomorrow.
Here is the ad:
2004 XB with clean title and 127k miles. Auto, CD, power doors and locks. Extremely reliable, 31mpg average, super fun to drive and great for road trips! I'm the 2nd owner, car has been well maintained with new alternator in last 6 months. Body and interior in decent condition, dings, scratches, and broken rear bumper piece reflected in price. Only issue is occasional VSC/TRAC light since alternator change, apparently common with this model but hasn't impacted performance at all.
This has been a great car for my family, and will be great for many more years. Asking $4500 or best offer, would like to sell quickly.
Is a TRAC light that comes on really a common issue which I shouldn't worry about?
What do you all think? Does this sound like a good deal?
