Default Should i sell my box for this?

Last few weeks i was thinking about just selling my Box, and getting Daihatsu Materia, and converting it to a JDM *new* bB

This picture got me thinking about this... I just felt in love with the curves of the new bB...

Looks OK but kinda looks like a PT Cruiser if they redesigned it to be more "squared"...

I have 3 options:

1. get that Daihatsu (one thing - i dont like how this Daihatsu sounds :D :D ) Materia - conver it to bB (full front / rear parts and etc)

2. Get the USDM Xb ver2 (but i dont like the fuel consumption of it)

3. Continue with my 06 Xb - cuz my wife loves it and it only has 10K miles....

hmm....

Im going to look at the Materia next week - if it looks OK as it is in the pics - im gonna source one with the front damaged :D

And question about Xb2 - is it too hard to find parts like headlights / bumpers / and all the other body parts for them?

Don't bother with the xB2. If you have a Materia available to you, it should be a no-brainer. Besides, just rebadge everything to bB... nobody will ever know it's a Daihatsu (I won't tell anyone)

the dihatsu is an toyota with some different panels and badges. so quality should not be an issue. But Im sure you can source out a front end from a bB 3rd gen to convert it.

I really really wish we had gotten that instead of our xB2 thing. It would have been worthy of the xB name. I say go for it if you feel the need.

The breakdown:

Pros:
1. I would go with it because not everyone over here knows what that is. You could practically drive with your eyes closed and fell the attention on the road. You'll have a goooood future on the road ahead of you with that thing over here. Especially in that tuxedo, dripping wet black.

2. You've already made a good move by going with the first gen xB. This is and will always be a head turner. Not to mention the gas mileage, excellent turn radius, and thousands of mod options available to you.

Cons:
1. The total "OMG" expense of converting this damn thing to a bB.

2. Who doesn't have a first gen xB? GREAT car, but you're no more unique than anyone else here. But it's still a GREAT car!

I love my 1st gen xB; but I would grab this bad boy if I had the chance...

Im in Europe - not USA ;) And in Europe - i bet you could count first gen Xb's on fingers ;)

Daihatsu Matieria is sold ingermany and across whole Europe (1 gen Xb isnt availible in EU - only in US, or as Toyota bB in Japan...)

So this Materia - is more od less already known...

Thanks for your options guys :D Will try to keep updated.
