Default Show display under construction

Ok, couldn't wait to share this little ditty.

I'm finished with my two 14"stanchions for displaying my car at shows. I am finishing up with 2 more that are 7" tall. The 14" one is pictured here. My plan is to have them powder coated to match the rims and badged with the rs 3.0 logo. The 7" ones will be under the left side and the 14" ones the otherside.

Please comment good or bad, I'm looking for any and all feed back. Thanks..

Nice! I like the way you staggered the top and bottom plates 45 degrees. Post pics after powder coating- they should look sweet!

be careful at shows that they make you setup in the grass.

I made them this high, because, based on what I've seen in a lot of other rod shows, displays typically raise the car 5" to 10" and I wanted it to stand WAY out. LOL

Figured this was only going to be for hard surfaces.

Thanks for the comments.

I'd make the baseplate bigger just in case. Plus, that's just too high.

That's cool I've never seen anything like that before I really want to see it finished.

It's a great idea for vehicles that have a serious amount of undercarriage work. So why are you doing it ?

They look good though ..

the box looks cool low. Sticking up on a stage isnt going to help the stance much and unless you are doing something extreme to the undercarriage there is no reason for the stands.

yeah, make the base plates bigger for added stability
and unless you are doing some crazy s**t to the undercarriage, dont bother with em
