Hey everyone,

How are all you new Xb owners...

Question: Is there a series of rack systems offered for Xb owners?

Thanks,
Shenton

I have the same question myself. I would like to purchase a roof rack from a Scion/Toyota dealership, but was wondering if I can have a roof rack that will support my BMX bike when I flip it upside down. Any dealers that can help, if you have a roof rack system that can support my BMX bike upside down? Thanks.
In the meantime...check this site

Do it right, get a Yakima Rack:

You want a Q Tower rack for the xB:

Hey. I have the Yakima Q Towers and it ROCKS! It can be used with lots of things. I use mine for my surfboard. I have the "Strap Thang" accessory for surfboards and also extra padding. Here, take a look.

Default Roof Racks

Picked up my xB last Saturday. Thule has a system for xB. I've got their equipment on my jeep. Saving my money for some new wheels

Is there a way to lock a surfboard on the top? Or is there any type of rack that will "display" the board more like leaning up on an angle on it's side? I'm going to be using the XB as an advertising vehicle and a surfboard may be part of my display. I want to be able to leave it on most the time if it won't get stolen. I also need to figure out how to modify the rack to hold a matching graphiced pocketbike on top. Any ideas?

I dont know of any way you could actually "lock down" your board. I would just strap it on there really good, so good that it would take time for a thief get it undone. The only locks I know of are the ones you can get for the actual rack itself.

Hmmmmmm. Thanks for the reply. I guess I could also wrap a bike cable around it to keep it up top. Also trying to figure out how to modify a rack to get a pocket bike to stay up there. Anybody got any input on that? I think the welder's gonna have to come out and make a hoop for the front wheel like when you mount a real motorcycle in a trailer. I know that 3 pocket bikes can easily fit inside. But the vehicle is all about the "look at me" wow factor. (or look at my business name and then come in and spend money) and I really want to put it over the top as a sweet mobile billboard.
