the economy is so slow now, what do you do at work at this slow moment?

 

im just killing another hour before traffic dies down enough to leave work. enjoying an anchor steam and surfing the web.

the state of the economy doesnt affect me...at least not yet.

 

I designed my own wheels in 3D CAD when I was bored. I will get pics of them posted up. I thought about contacting some companies about making them.

i think youtube is the best place to go, but now i am sick of it too. lol..

 

When there are no cars to work on, I just sit around and clean my tool box or reorganize my tools! I'll also go and BS with the other techs...

 

i kinda wish it'd slow down at my work, i'm working 11 hour days and even saturdays and still can't get caught up!

There is always boxes and letters to sort at UPS so its never really slow.

SL has been dog-slow when replying... probably is what's leading to the double-posts.

 

I work for a well-known and very troubled mortgage company...

In my free time I try VERY hard to look busy. With the way my industry is going, I'm just lucky to work another day.

Aerospace manufacturing. With the 787 and the new 747-8, we are swamped!

 

I'm a freight analyst and yeah the economy is killing my job. I work the same hours as per being salary but my work is performance and goal driven and my supervisors are back east where they don't see the crash in levels as bad so they don't get it.

Now-they're probably watching the internet a bit more too so I guess I am down to reading.

The double posts are because the SL website sometimes doesn't register when you first hit submit but then catches up and so you get multiple posts. I've seen this happening for about a week.
