So what's it going to be then, eh?
To all my Scionlife droogies. I have a bit of a problem. I dont know if I should get some springs (Tein S-Tech's) or a sound system (2x JBL GT 12" subs in a custom Bandpass box with an 800w Profile amp) There are good things about both, for example,
Springs
Lowers car
Performance modification (handling)
Keeps my car performance oriented
Subs
Kicks ****
Louder than these civic boys runnin around here
Speakers wont bottom out (stock speakers) due to the bass outputs
And the bad. . .
Springs
I wont fare to well againts the pot holes here/ rough roads (not to happily anyway)
Most people wont notice
Subs
No trunk space
Everyone will notice (ie COPS)
All I ask is your 2 Cents on this subject matter.

The springs are like 230 list. I"m sure you can find them for a cheaper price if you look around. The system is going to cost a lot more then that. Subs are like 120 each plus box and amp. These things also get stolen around here so I would get the springs, but you also have to take into account which one you would enjoy more. The stock system is enough for me and how it drives is more important to me. Do you like the drop? Are you using them to improve handling? Then I say springs. Do you spend a lot of time in traffic? If you do I say the subs and stuff.

dont listen to them! split the diff. get the stereo. and it will lower the back, and you'll still have the beats!
naw, all honesty, do springs. its more of a personal enjoyment thing knowing your lowered. save up for a nice stereo. thats what ive done and i would do it again like i have. it works out well. so do your springs, and wait on stereo

Why do you say that? My bro has that exact set up and its loud as crap. My friend has 2 12" Audiobahns hooked to i think a 1200w amp and it doesnt push nearly as hard as my bros. Given the audiobahns are way used, and in a crappy box, but those levels are still more expensive than my bros. but the profile i think actually pushes more true wattage, sayin its 800w maybe it pushes 650-750 regularly as opposed to pushin 500 and peakin at 800

well, bandpass output ist the greatest for sq unless you get one built for your subs but usually i have found from personal expirience that prebuilt bandpass boxes sound better in some cars than others and produce more racket than tight, smooth, deep bass. hey its just my opinion do what you want
