that happened to me on my way to a show, the kid was like 14, has his mom manuveur her durango like 8 times to get picks of my xB, i was like, "i didnt think the banana waon was that hot"

 

Had another picture taken of my car today by some girl on the freeway. After she took the pic she was all smiling and happy.

 

I've had lots of people pull up beside me and ask me about my box, but I don't think anyone's ever just taken a picture of it.

 

One night when I was sleepy and on my way home- right as I drove thru this intersection, I saw a flash and realized that someone had snapped a pic of my car.

....Two weeks later a ticket arrived in the mail along with the photo of me going thru a red light.

 

 

I have people at bus stops taking pics all day when I am at a light. I get alot of drive by camera phone shots taken, and Once in a while someone will pull up and ask if they mind if they take a pic. I dont mind it. I take it as a compliment.

 

I have a similar story... first time i met my girlfriends dad he was like what kinda car is that its UGLY!!! my girlfriend said its a scion dad, made by toyota... her dad replies toyota wouldn't make such a ugly car, i don't believe its toyota... so i walk over to the car and point out the etched toyota logo on the glass... he said oh toyota made the glass... i said they made the whole car... i popped the hood and showed him the toyota logo on the motor and his nose turns up and he says well, least its reliable... LOL. so ya i guess for some people its all about the name.

but whats really funny is, i was just like him a few years ago when it first came out.. i thought it was the worlds ugliest car... absolutely hated it infact i recall myself saying u couldn't give me one of those and get me to drive it... then well it started to grow on me, after a year i wanted one really bad... i absolutely love my toaster.

 

Last year this old couple walked past my car after four or five paces, they turned around and stared for at least 2 or 3 minutes. They barely mentioned a word. Just looked at it.

 

I got something like that a couple weeks ago. The lady got in thier truck and the guy just stood there and stared for what seemed like 2 minutes. I was sitting behind the wheel thumping some tunes and he was looking right at me and my box from the front. Strange to say the least but I always love the attention my box gets everywhere I take it.

 

Hahaha. Yeah, you just gotta love the attention. =D

 

When I first got mine in '04 people always asked us and one guy followed me into a parking lot and asked me about it. And Ive definitely caught elderly people staring and watching my car as I go by

 

It's happened to me a couple of times, but they always ask for promision first. Hey it's a compliment that your car looks good and someone likes!
But then again?

 

I have had several people stop me in parking lots and ask me if they can look inside, I always take that as a compliment. They always walk away with a "WOW" and a smile....
