Default Some pic updates + Summer projects!!

Let's see, some current updates on the box...

Since I last posted I've gotten some goodies for my box

1.) Keytechniques Key hole plugs

2.) Blazer fog lights, just cheapos from wally world but they look great, IMO, and it's a cheap upgrade that works quite nice.

3.) Blacked out the front Scion enblem check the photo above for that...

4.) Greddy Evo2 Axel back, thanks to my dude Rob! (ilovemybox)

5.) 20% tint all the way around.

BEFORE:

AFTER:

Now onto my summer projects...

Since I've had my SRI I wanted to make something out of the fog light cover like an intake vent. For fear of screwing it up or just not liking it I put it in the back burner for projects to do.

Turns out after lurking the Craigslist ads I found a lady who had not only both fog light covers but a stock grill, all three brand new, removed at the lot and replaced with some chrome (ugly) accents... either way... all mine for the whopping price of 250 pesos aka $25 80)

Here is a picture of what I wanted to make: I found this on here searching it, not sure what user it was just saved the pic...

The pieces were BCP, but that makes no difference to me since the covers will be stripped and most likely CF wrapped or whatever idea springs to mind...

As for the grill..

I really don't dig the scion logo up front, just too big for me I guess, I like the sleek/stealth look, and with this grill I plan to sand down the grille and then recreate/mold the grill with an even pattern all the way through, and no sponge bob (if you've taken the enblem out you know what I mean =]) hole exposed.

Just wrote a novel, sheesh!

But yeah, just wanted to share =]

Thanks everyone!

Some things to come are rear progress sway, HID's or Projectors just debating on prices and what would look better, and perhaps some speaker upgrades...

I only have the axle back so it isn't the deepest sound I could get if I had the cat back and a new header, it sounds great, deep and not riced out at all, I like it.

Did you glue the key hole plugs in? How do you like them? Been thinking about getting some but don't want to glue them in!

Default Fog Light grills

I would be really interested in how you make the fog light grills. Any chance you can write it up.

Thanks

Try to incorporate one of these inlets. Then you can run some duct hose and point it right at the intake.

Just an idea...

Looks like a cool project.
