Default spare mounted sub version 3.0 , LOOK !!!!!!

here are some pics of my spare mounted sub version 3.0. If you have read any of my other posts, then you have seen my differnt boxes. I am trying to market these, so if interested, please email or PM me. prices vary between 75-100$.

here are the specs

~.31 cubut feet air space
fiberglass bottom and sides
1/2" mdf top
(2 ) layers of 1/2" baltic birch plywooed to screw sub into
gold plated binding posts

I have the pioneer shallow mount 8" sub in it and it sounds great
the sq10 i had sounded good as well, but for sound quality, i think the 8" is a little better. I have plans on designing both a sealed and ported version for the ED KV7 6.5" sub, i think this will work great.

it fits under the stock covers, WITH all the wrenches in place. Takes up no space. I currently am powing this with a old kenwood 45x2 amp bridges, and it sounds great!.

Anyway, just seeing what you guys think. If i can get any interest, ill buy an extra spare whhel to use as a mold.

actually, its more then just alittle, if i turn up the bass ****, it will rattle the mirros, and go pretty low. I have to turn the 50 hrz up on the eq, but thats just cause its an 8. i think being in the rear and under the cover help magnify the bass

i think just over 4". If soemone wanted to cheat a lil more, i could probally gain maybe a 1/4" or so. No way to get over 4 1/2" and still have room for sub exursion, unless you cut all the foam from the back of the spare holder, so the tire sits flat on the floor

do you have a sub? if so which one. Also, i have several options, such as 25k gold plated binging posts, carpet. Mynext one might be made of carbon fiber even. Anyway, PM and ill give you a price, but with everything, ill do 100$ shipped

Looks like a great idea there.
Any thoughts on some sort of grillework for the spare cover, or am I over-analyzing?

it sounds great under the stock cover. i recess the sub so it has room to move up and down with out hitting it. Totally stealth too.

fit-yes, sound good- no. problem is , there is not alot of air space. most i can get is ight at.33 cubic feet. now what i think would sound really good for sound quality is one of ED 6.5" subs in there, they are suposed to sound really good. also a jl 6w0 will fit too

I allready have two 10's under my front seats so the stealth rear sub will need to be larger.

and i use pioneer exclusively.
