Default Sponsorships????

Hey Y'all,

The other night a guy from teamscp.com contacted me and offered up a sponsorship for 5k with three different aftermarket parts providers.
I told him to hang out while I checked out what they were all about.
I found some things on them but nothing conclusive.

Anyone have experiance with or heard of Team SCP?

If so please let me know.
Thanks,
MM

From what I have heard they are just like carsponsorships.com

You pay a membership fee and in return get discounts on parts that you will never want to use. Just do a google search on them and read all the info that pops up about scams.

Yea, a sponsorship shouldn't cost you anything. A product discount isn't the same as paying to get the discount.

You shouldn't have to pay to be sponsored. Sponsors pick your car because it will get attention for their product, not because it makes them money selling it to you. You are supposed to advertise for them so they make money off other consumers.
