Default Strange Noise

My xA has 1600 miles on it, and for a while now it has a strange clicking sound coming from the engine.
Not loud or anything, just a quiet clicking at idle like its a rough idle or something.
Is this normal or should I get it checked out? Could it be from rough driving?

No matter if it is from rough driving you should still have the xa checked out. Better now that you have warrante then when you dont.

It could be the normal valvetrain noise, but it never hurts to get it checked out.

Mine does it too,it's normal from what I've been told with these and other smaller engines. It's when you don't hear the "clicking" noise anymore you should start to worry.

On one of my previous vehicles though, the clicking got louder and it turned out to be a loose spark plug, possibly check them if you got the time.

THe honda that I use to drive made a tapping sound, I thought it was that the valves needed to be readjusted. It turned out that that was a normal noise, it was the fuel injectors.

It won't hurt to get it checked. I would be willing to bet it is just the injectors doing their thing. Also you might want to think about listening to another xA to see if it does it too.

My Xa does the same thing, but if i turn off the air it stops. My answer to your question is its just the compressor. You shouldnt have to worry about it, your car wont fal apaprt on you.
