Yeah, I think I'm on the same set up as you but I'm not lowered yet so I'd like to find out too. The S-Tiens drop 1.7 in the front and 1.5 in the back? I was wondering if I would rub and if those springs would work for me. Any pics of the new car?

Someone help us out Bump

Where do they rub?? I would bet they rub at full left or right turns on the wheelhouse forward of the front struts. I would also bet they rub behind the front tires at the firewall in the footwells. Spacers are not going to help you in the second area and little in the first....and may induce rubbing on the fenders. For the firewall rub application of a big hammer to dimple the footwells back a little will fix that (be sure to reseal any disturbed seam sealer in these areas after hammering so the seam there doesn't leak). For the full lock turn rub, just do not turn that sharp. If you are getting any rub at the fenders spacers will make it worse not better and without raising the car, rolling the fender edges, or increasing the camber you will not be able to do much with a rub here.

In the rear where does it rub??? IF they rub the rear axle beam then grinding (can only grind just a very little) the weld they hit or the side of the beam slightly is a possibility. If the rub the 1/4 panels then only rolling the 1/4 panel wheel lips or cambering the rear wheels will help. A small 5MM spacer behind the rears will gain some space to the rear axle beam but will lose you space at the 1/4 panel, measure and see what you can do.

Good luck.

Behind the front tires...

rear only a little(on occasion) seems like a fastener is getting worn down for the wheel well plastic guard

Put the stock springs back in till you can afford new rubber.

Behind the front tires is the footwell area I was talking about. Hammering the steel back can gain some clearance there. Remember to seam seal.

215/40/18 tires will fit with only a very slight rub at the rear and at full lock turns. A couple hammer blows behind the wheels stops the rub there and the full lock turn rub is so slight it needs no worry.

In the rear if the plastic clip at the top of the plastic shield rear of the wheel is getting rubbed you could switch the fastener with a push in type (no center button in it) which is flatter and may not rub.

Smaller tires is the best answer of course.
