Default Sunroof Ragtop Question

So I was cruising the streets of Kenosha WI last night and I passed another xB. It had a sunroof or maybe a ragtop sunroof (it was closed so I couldn't tell) that ran probably almost 3/4's of the way down the roof. Does anyone have pics of something like this or know how much it would cost. I tried finding the guy on here but couldn't. His WI license plates said EVO. Any help would be appreciated.

We were in the left turn lane together turning on Green Bay Rd northbound from Hwy 50. I think he may have turned east on 52nd but I kept going north.

I believe it was a salsa red xB. He has his front windows tinted and is lowered but still with hubcabs.

Sounds like either the Webasto panoramic, or a canvas roll back. I personally think a canvas roof with midwestern winters is just asking for trouble, so my money is on a panoramic.

The show DIY had a DIY episode on how to install one in an xB. My dad taped it for me. It looked easy to install. I plan one of those in the distant future. I think it ran about 900 bucks plus labor.

The only one I have seen (online) was a Wasbasto...They look cool, but here in Indy with the crazy weather and snow, I would be scared to put one in.

The big ones are fully weather proof and are made of heavy materials. Plus it runs in a track so weight on it while it's closed isn't an issue. Plus I'm sure it's tested and warrantied
