Default Switch Locations?

Hey Everyone, I have a 2006 xB and I was wondering if anyone else has ran into this problem, There are only two OEM switch locations in the dash. I need switches for my fog lights, underbody LEDs, interior LEDs, and my subwoofers. Where is a good location for these switches? does anyone have switches in their glove box? Pictures would be a great help. Thanks.

What I did was remove all the switches to the left of the steering wheel that I did not need like power mirrors,Dash light dimmer just set them and forget them and let them hang behind the dash. You can add 2 where the power mirror was and a single for the dimmer.
The same gardner bender switches fit just like in the center console.
Cant show pictures out of the country at the moment.

looks good! i like this idea better than the one above... just go find yourself a dremel.... wiring should be easy, its all empty back there.

i was a little nervous cutting into it. I laid out a pice of blue painter's tape on some waxed paper, grabbed a drafting triangle and a ruler and laid out the template. then I laid the tape on the dash and started cutting.

if you use OEM style rockers that will work good, but diff switches would hang out way too much

they don't hang out at all - they're actually well past the curve of the dash. i'm 6'2" and my knees would never hit them.

so basically, I have to pull that dash section off and measure/cut out the right size squares for my rocker switches. Im using some heavy duty rockers like the OEM ones from Lowes.

taking the dash apart to cut is probably a better idea, but I didn't want to take the time - I cut it in situ. I just made up a template on a piece of tape, and laid the tape on. took all of five minutes.

you also have 3 spots in the center console if you take out the accessory plug and don't have the ipod, the 3rd you actually have to cut out its pre marked and pre grooved on the back

not if its an 06, we have 2 switches (___). they decided that we needed a button that told us

1) passenger seatbelt is not in

2) airbag on/off, if no one is in passenger seat, airbag doesnt deploy.
