synthetic motor oil : who's using it ?

I use Castrol Syntec 5w-30 in my tc. Honestly, I felt like my first change gave me a little better performance and gas mileage but sometimes we just want to "think" we can feel the difference you know. I like synthetic because of reduced friction and have used castrol for along time in many import cars with great results so there you go. lol

I used mobil 1 for the life of my old auto tc, which was 40k miles, with mobil1 filters.
on this tc, for the life of it, i've used amsoil 5w30 with toyota filters changed every 3-5k, oil changed every 20k.

Amsoil Synthetic- 5w30 w/Wix Filters (from RockAuto.com - best price)and Filter Mags.
Also use Amsoil synthetic tranny fluid (Auto).
Not sure I can say a noticed difference w/ 5w30 - but I can go 10,000 miles between oil changes no problem,
Definate difference w/tranny fluid. Much better and smoother shifts!
