Default Thank you for the great times everyone!

Due to recent accusations of me using "dead troops" to get free stuff for my xB I have decided to leave the Scion modding community. I would like to thank all of the great companies who sponsored the Fallen Heroes Car. While the project did not last as long as I would have hoped, I know we have raised the awareness of our Fallen Heroes to hundreds of thousands of people and contrary to the beliefe of a few people, that was the goal of the project in the first place

I would also like to thank the Scion Life desert & Salt community for supporting the Fallen Heroes Car and for the great friendships I have made over the past 10 months.

All of the items donated to the xB will be removed and return over the next week. The Fallen Heroes Car wrap will be removed tonight. I will not be logging into this account anymore so if you send a PM it will not be read. The http://www.fallenheroescar.org website is now being redirected to the Scion Like Desert & Salt forum.

I just bought a new BMW for my wife so I will now move on to working on mods for it.

Take care everyone!

Sorry to see you go. Your car stood for something, it's a shame that people will try to use that against you.

I think the people accusing you of using "dead troops" to get stuff for your car is pure jealousy. I see no reason to drop your project that had good intentions just because a few jealous people ASSUME you use dead troops to get free stuff for your car.

Regardless, the overall decision is yours but I think you need a bigger reason to stop such an awesome project other than a couple of people being jealous.

Should Habitat for Humanity stop building homes because they're getting "free" products to build homes with? Not along the same lines of the Fallen Heros car but I hope you can see my comparison. Both have good intention.

whatevers clever, trevor....

A lot of people have been asking me who said it. And after much thought I've decided "what the hell". Here is a screenshot of the post.

Recently Randode from Phoenix and I have had a disagreement. The person who posted the comment is his cousin. Due to this post and a lot of other drama that has been going on lately the Scion modding scene just is not fun anymore and I have decided to "walk away" before I do something that would bring any disgrace on our Fallen Heroes.

To be honest, I enjoyed your car. Most people mod for themselves, you were doing something for awareness. Sure you most likely got some joy from it as well, but it was your car. You shouldn't let someone like that push you away from something you want to do.

If this has dried the well up(so to speak) then I wish you luck on whatever you do next.

On a light note, I hope Dwest sends you $7 and an apology. That is childish crap that doesn't need to be out in the open forums. If he had a problem, he is more than capable of contacting you through PM's and such.

Man, if I got that upset after reading a single "negative post" against me, I would have thrown in the towel on sooo many things.

People talk a lot of trash online. Don't always take all negative comments to heart... In fact, never take
something that is said online to heart... especially in an open online community where criticism is used as
much as the space bar.

Its the U.S. of A! Freedom of speech! Americans die for that on a daily basis, and thats just one reason they put their lives on the line...you're decision to stop your project is also what America is all about, you're sending the wrong message by quitting, not American at all, sorry to say. Good luck.

While that post was not cool, I think it should've been taken with a grain of salt. People will always have opinions. What you have been doing is good. Bring it back!

I thought this was over, I stated my opinion, being a Former U.S. Marine, I think I can say what I want about this subject. His actions offend me.

I hope you don't think that I was saying you don't have a right to have your opinion on the matter. My point was everyone is entitled to speak out on anything.

My big problem with it is that you made it a public thing. You brought it into a thread which had nothing to do with the military or his car even. Your opinion is perfectly fine, but your method of displaying it was unnecessary. A pm would've been sufficient. No need to air dirty laundry in a public forum.

Whether it all started with him and Randode or not doesn't matter to me as I know none of you in person or really on the boards either. I just think that since you have obviously met in person before, you might as well just tell him face to face.

Also on a side note, from family experience, you claim to be a former marine. I reckon that translates into "I am a Marine". My uncle used to get ____ed when someone would say he was a Marine.

Default wow

its sad to see a good car go by the wayside dont quit on one or a few opinons everybody feels diff about patriotism and all of us should think about the recognition this car has brought to all the vetrens and fallen men and women of our armed services. we should support that. dont make this a lost cause this car deserves better and so do the ideals it upholds. here is a pic of the xB
