Default ? is there a Scion X B Sports Edition?

I was shown a car last week & the dealer called it a Scion X B Sports Edition. Is it a limited edition or something? It came with the fog lights, armrest, & different tail lights. (the car was a sliver color) I can't seem to find any other advice on it. Thanks for any info.

If it's a "sport edition" it isn't an official Scion package. A dealer may have added options to it and made their own "package" but there is no official Scion Sport Package for the xB.

However, there are the Release Series editions. Three special colors and packages from Scion.
- RS 1: Hot Lava.
- RS 2: Solar Yellow.
- RS 3: Envy Green.

it's just a "dealer" package... don't get fooled some dealers makes a package and calls them limited or wutever so that people get attracted to buy scion with accessories in it... coz they get more cut if they sell scion accessories other than just a basic scion...

Holy hell, wow I thought I had the sports package. Maybe your's is different, mine was the called the trd ltd sports security package. It came with convertable floor mats, a sports mat for the trunk and a sports security system. Even came with trd sports side & curtain airbags. Dude it honestly gives you at least 100hp over stock, its off the hook.

.....rolling in my own sarcasm, long day, sorry......lol

Thanks everyone no wonder, I've been jerked around at two different dealerships. I went to buy the Envy Green xB & my car got sold at two different dealerships. Plus to make matters worse I had put money down.

Sounds like a good case for the Peoples Court. That is just wrong when they sell cars out from under paying customers.

xB sport edition? I suppose the sport package adds a few more girbles under the hood running 'round their wheels as fast as they can!

This is a little off topic but...... I recall years ago when I was driving in misery in a Plymouth Reliant K which was once again sputtering and giving me all kinds of pain when on Route 80 heading west up hill, a Yugo "Sport" model blew me off the road True! The lady I was car pooling with was laughing so hard she had to take a shot of her inhaler for her asthma :-)

I like how you think!

Dealers that take a deposit then sell the car out from under you just plain suck. That's such a week play on their part. Would be different if you dropped out of touch with them but that doesn't sound like the case here.

You should call the Scion Customer Experience (866-707-2466) and let them know what the dealers did. Have your receipts handy to prove you had money down. Hopefully they'll go bust some heads. Little empty ones but, heads just the same.

Sorry for you trouble. Wish we had an RS for you here in Phoenix. If you need help locating one I'll do my best. Just PM me with the best number to reach you at and I'll tell you if I can find one at a dealer near you.

A stealership in Knoxville had a TRD Special Edition xB that was nothing more than TRD badges, leather interior and springs and exhaust.

Just don't let them get you to buy accessories you can buy online and install yourself for cheaper. Congrats on finding an xB!

Dealer: "Yes, we have the special xB sport edition package. It gives you the benefit of having your speedometer, rpm's and fuel gauge all in one easy to read conveniently placed cluster. This is a benefit sports package exclusive!!
It also includes an auto dimming dome light, and power locks and windows!! Who has time to fiddle with rolling windows down by hand when you're speeding along in this speed machine?!! It even comes with the sport exclusive 1500 cubic centimeter engine!!! The standard xB is only 1.5 liters.
Look!! It comes with the TRD sports emblem!! Toyota is very particular about this emblem. It can't say TRD if its not super fast!! TRD means Toyota RACING development!!"

Person:" But all of these cars have the same instrument cluster...and isn't 1500cc's the same as 1.5 liters?"

Dealer:"That's because all we carry is the supersport edition. We have some without the super fast TRD emblems, because if we leave the emblem off your insurance wont cost as much--but they're all super TRD fast!!!"
