Default There STILL isn't another car out there better than my xB!

I'm still driving my 06 xB that I bought in Oct, 2005. I retired so I don't put daily driver miles on it and right now I'm sitting at around 72K. The only problem I ever had was the water pump but I got it fixed in no time flat. Anyway, I've been looking to buy a new or newer car but there's nothing out there that's better than my ole' xB. I was hoping that new Civic Hatchback would fit the bill but man, it rides way too low for me..it's hard to go low when you've been riding much higher for so long.

The good news is my 06 xB shows no sign of slowing down. To me it's a perfect car/wagon that is:
1. Super fun to drive
2. The seats ride higher than a sedan or coupe
3. Cool placement of the odometer
4. Tons of storage space on/near the dashboard
5. Plenty of visibility from all angles
6. Decent MPG's(around 30 in mixed driving)
7. Easy to repair..if anything ever does go wrong which is rare.
8. Incredible amount of room inside.
9. It's paid off, can't beat that!
10. Did I mention Super fun to drive? That's what it's all about isn't it?

This might be the best car ever..at least to me it is!

They truly are a great vehicle. If you want something (NEW) but close to the same just get a new Yaris. My wife drives an 08 Yaris and loves it as much as my box.

DITTO!
My 2005 xB has 175,884 miles.

Looking for a future replacement.
Found very few cars that I can open the door, sit on the seat and get into without hitting my head (usually just above the ear) on the frame.
- Thank you CAFE standards for the more severely raked windshields and lowered roof lines.
