Oh no, not that whole "is it from the port or factory" issue again?!?! Well, I have to disagree Tomas. My friend who knows a mechanic who works for Jiffy Lube who knows this guy at Scion said it was a factory option......

I had a spider in my xB at one point as well. It would come out of the headliner onto the windshield inside the car. I'd be just driving along and see the thing up there and it would scare the crap out of me. I get along fine with any bug except spiders, so good thing I had a papertowel in the glove compartment. We played peekaboo for a few minutes, it would come out of the headliner onto the glass, and then shoot back under there when I made a move to kill it. I had to wait for it to come out far enough and I was finally able to get it.

Interesting fact: I've read that the average person will swallow 8 spiders in their sleep over the course of a lifetime. Sleep with your mouth closed! haha

They have proved that wrong now, the venom in a Daddie Long Legs is not even nearly as poisonus as a Black Widow.

Where did you get that info from? Those things had webs all over my front yard at my old house. They especially liked building webs across my front door, between the top of the gate and the tree, and between my car and the fence. I was guaranteed to walk through their webs at least once a day.

I miss my spider. I used to have a Tarantula. One of my associates gave it to me because she didn't feel her daughter could take care of it. I had it for almost a year before it escaped from its aquarium and disappeared in the house, never to be seen again. I was told that it could bite, but it never bit me. I used to carry it around all the time and pet it and freak out my relatives. :D

I'm scared to death of spiders. Have you seen "Nothing to Loose" with Martin Lawerence and Tim Robbins.......or was it "Me Myself and Irene" with Jim Carrey when that spider was on his shirt when he was driving and he slammed on the breaks and started stripping all of his clothes off because he was so freaked out......
I'm that guy.....

The only spiders I have on my car are my shoes!
