the joint/flange needs to be loosened and then readjusted

I never had a problem filling gas, it is normally the pump attendants that does it for me... I will just get into the air conditioned customer area to wait for payment.

Hey hotbox...if it's the joint/flange how would i tell. The rubber hangers seem to be in place just fine.

i thought i read somewhere they fixed this problem for the 05 xb... but lately the same thing has been happening to me... it only happens at some gas stations... i remember another thread which talked about the size of the nozzle plays a part

It's not just an 04 thing it all depends on month of manufacture.

never had this issue with my '05 I just stick it in and pull the trigger and walk away, then wait a few min and the tank is full.
