Default Tomorrow is the day!!

Hey all!!! I am getting my brand new xb first thing tomorrow mornin'! Anything that you all can suggest to look out for or anything in particular to know about the xb?

This is my first post on scionlife and I hear that it's the place to be for scions!

Let me know if anyone has some advice!

Congratulations!!!!!!

The blue engine temp light stays on until the engine starts to come up to temperature.
The dealer kind of forgot to tell me about this. They had taken the car out and filled it up before I took delivery, so the engine was already warm on my drive home.
The next morning I start the car to go to work and there is a blue light on in the instrument panel. I freak out and pull the manual and find that this is supposed to happen.

YUP!!!!
Take your camera to the dealership and have a "closeup" photo shoot of everything at all angles.. including the corners of the doors [behind the rubber gaskets]...you are looking for rust and any abnomilities in the paint, fit & finish.
also ask them for the "cabin filter" that they forgot to install when they "prepped it" for delv.

Nahh, dumb would be if we had taken the car back to the dealer and they pointed it out to us

Because of that comment, I highly doubt you are the smartest of smart if you know what I mean. Most mechanics are smarter than other people. You rebuild an engine and have it work and I'll gladly edit this.

For highway driving, I wouldn't be without my cruise control.

Long story short, they told me that the truck was really late and they couldn´t get it prepped in time for delivery today, so they are going to have me pick it up tomorrow instead. They gave me a free car wash coupon to the place next door though as an apology.

P.S. I mentioned about the cabin filter just in case!

Congrats bro. Unless there's some dude at the carwash with a bucket and the softest of mitts, I'd just forget the coupon. I wouldn't even recommend brushless with the paint on the xB.

Also, saddlesore is right about the rust. Check out this thread for some pics of where to look. It's easy to fix yourself, but the dealer should cover it, if it's there.
