Took the dogs out in the box today
Hey everyone just thought I'd share some pictures from today. It was a toss up between riding the bike and taking the dogs out. I took the dogs down to the water. kinda overcast but no rain. They had a blast as usual.

People love the dog box here for some reason :-) They are both crashed out on the couch now takin a nap. I was happy with my decision today cuz the dogs had fun. They love the box too...when i take them outside, the run to it and look at me like "lets go somewhere!"

No the big one is a black lab we got from the pound as a puppy. His name is Berry. He's about almost a year and a half old now. The little one is a chihuahua and his 1st birthday was today. His name is Jonsey. They are both all black with a white spot on their chest, but completely different breeds :-)

Dogs are great but not in a box. Especially not wet dogs in the box. Maybe in a Jeep. The interior pieces scratch too easy not to mention trying to get the hair out of the seat fabric. Maybe in a cage inside the box.
Check your local pet store for a removable guard that you can put in and take out when the Dogs go with you. It is a set of bars that goes from ceiling to Fold down seats backs to prevent the dogs from falling into space between seats. I had one for my shephard and It saved her in our accident. She was unhurt like me but the lady totalled my scion xb
nice pics emfomas! dogs love the box im tellin ya.
i have a sleeping bag unzipped open that i roll out that they sit on so they dont ruin the interior. i also put a little pillow on one side so the little one can reach to see out the window :-)

we have a pretty good homemade setup. we use two dog bed cushions covered by two blankets. then we have a big comforter type thing over the headrests so it blocks off the gap between the seats. that is strapped to the headrest posts by a thule strap. it really is a pretty plush setup.

for me, my dogs are my kids and i would never not let my kids ride in my car. so if they scratch a little plastic its all good for me. i like my xb to look good but its no show car so i dont lose any sleep over a nick now and then.
My dog loves riding in my car, although she fell out once so now I hardly give her any window =/. Luckily it was in a 25 mph zone so we werent going too fast, she was okay a few minutes after and playing like nothing happened.
Anyone have a solution to if your dog peed on your back seat? Maybe like a disinfectant or something to get rid of the odor? =/
Also any methods on vaccuming the hair out?

For the dog hair a vacuum doesn't work very well. It will get like 70%. The rest I use those tape lint rollers on.
i cant believe you dog fell out? glad she was ok though.
this stuff is great for regular house carpet. dont see why it wouldnt be great for the box.
