The payload capacity on the xB is around 900lbs. Subtract passenger load and what do you have left? They make a hitch that will fit but I'd be VERY careful about how much I'm carrying. It'd be quite easy to overload the braking capacity on these little things with enough weight in the back...

IMO, 3 bikes = Tacoma.

One of the most repeated threads there is.
Try one of these or one the many other towing threads:

For anyone to even consider towing a trailer and 3 motorcycles with an xB is exactly why Scion has recommended no towing. You at least had the good sense to ask, if the xB had a tow rating there would be a lot of people that would not ask and would exceed any recommended rating. It is my opinion that more than 1/2 of the trailers you see on the highway are loaded in excess of the recommended rating for the tow vehicle. Americans, in general, know very little about towing.

it's not that americans know less than other countries it's that they don't seem to care. and will tow just about anything just as long as they can get their crap where they want it.

well said bro

you can tow with the echo too but remember you have 1.5 liters pulling you, a load of gas and your trailer and whats ON the trailer. it isnt worth it. get a pick up. their meant for towing

you dont understand how heated i get when i see a civic hatch back or a old accord towing a huge boat with the front end up in the air. its stupid and unsafe.
