bubble wrap and duct tape ---sounds good to me ,and then you don't have to look for excuses to raise the price

Being the part is very fragile, I'm sure it will break being it's an oversize part. I feel in the long run people will complain of the cheap/poor packaging.

That's why it's best to get INSURANCE while shipping.

About the box for shipping. Go to a carpet store and ask them for their old tubes from the inside of the carpet rolls. They are happy to give them away.

Sorry, a mailing tube will not work due to the bend in the part.

A box in the size of 12"x4"x54" is required. As of now, still no luck.

You could take a 54x48 piece of cardboard, fold it into a triangle, and cap the ends... filling it with packaging peanuts or whatnot. Honestly, if the price for shipping was $30/more... it'd still be worth it.

I agree, even if the cost of shipping and the box were $30 it will still be good. We like the part and want one. Also, doesn't the part flex a little? If it did it would slid right into a tube.

Hey griecos xb, BTW, Sorry! Never meant to jack your thread.

BTW a box has been found and with a few mods will work out fine I think. Now, just waiting on the parts to be completed.

Orataro, why not start a thread about this part and let people sign up for one of your eyelids?

I don't want to start a post until I have them in hand and I'm happy with them. And, being I am not a sponsor with this site, I can not openly sell them on this site. So, most likely I'll just place them on my eBay auctions or eBay store. Then again, it doesn't cost much to become a sponsor on this site.

I'd become a sponsor, if only for a month just to get the word out.
