Updated Pics...Vert kit installed.

Here are a few quick pictures. I am going to take more at the All Scion Show in Ames, plus more with better background scenery. But here are a few with the Vert kit on. Also Geraid spoiler.

The interior has the Carrozzeria window speakers and Carrozzeria sub (sounds GREAT, very suprised for a powered sub)
installed too. But my upholstery guy didn't get the back seat finished for me, and the mounts for the CF racing seats didn't go as planned, so those things are left to be finished.

Here's the pics.

TtownXB 05-16-2008 02:44 AM

that is a sick KIT

MattyRattyPoo 05-16-2008 02:54 AM

Wow not bad!! Just a few things I would change like the mirrors, grill, and CF fenders.hood. Only my opinion but over all, looks sick! Love the stance and lippage!

IowaSciontist 05-16-2008 02:58 AM

Thanks guys. And thanks for the input Matty. I like the shape of the hood, so will keep it, but may paint it. I am probalby only going to run this setup this year and redo it again next year. I have a paint scheme and body kit picked out already. Again, it'll be rare like this one. As for the mirrors, they are a throwback item to classic Toyota. They are off a '78 Celica GT. Wanted fender mirrors, and the little bullet ones were too VIP for my taste, and these seem to fit better. Plus, they are Toyota.

MattyRattyPoo 05-16-2008 03:09 AM

Well thats tight that they are off a Celica!

Nice to see someone else doing big things! Im trying to do the same thing :P

Murbyrne 05-16-2008 03:21 AM

Nice looking xB. Ill see it in person this weekend!

burstaneurysm 05-16-2008 03:25 AM

Not bad at all, but I don't think the tails and grille flow at all.

firesquare 05-16-2008 03:40 AM

WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

DaBlackBox 05-16-2008 03:54 AM

very nice. props to u

Skuff_Box 05-16-2008 05:56 AM

That is a phatty box! Nice

brownfaux 05-16-2008 09:52 AM

Hmmm. This could be the best xB I have ever seen. We'll never know for sure though. We don't have the technology.
I love it. I want the hood spoiler on mine.

What kind of engine work?

Thanks again guys. But it's far from the best. It was a daily for the last 4 years, so it has it's flaws. Those going to Ames will see them.

Engine work is a Megan header, Ganandor Exhaust, AEM intake, Fidanza Flywheel, ACT stage 3 clutch, and Greddy Supercharger.

Scionarra 05-16-2008 02:23 PM

looks great man!

ill be at the all scion show too!!! ill say hi!

Ghost_1 05-16-2008 02:26 PM

mmmmm mmmmm mmmmmm

SEXTACULAR!!!!! I'm not a fan of most of the cars that look close to yours but the xB looks the SEX in the photos!

DarkSide_xB 05-16-2008 04:12 PM

wow!! i think i just busted a nut.... yeah i did... looks great!

ogerdgonz 05-16-2008 05:38 PM

WOW I did not realize that sub was so large........ agree with Ian the tails need to be painted to match around the lens and the body color.

StealthBox 05-17-2008 10:15 AM

Looking great, and yeah that powered sub looks huge but seems to fit well in the rear.....

B-

Buckets 05-17-2008 11:29 AM

so are u planning to color match all the carbon fiber and the mirrors? also looks great, best looking ive seen.

stew32 05-17-2008 12:44 PM

Looks great! The mirrors are a nice touch. Those rear fender flares look a little odd to me. Seems like there should be a piece on the door so it's not squared off. Maybe that's just the way it is and would look even stranger with door pieces and gap...

Big_Bird 05-17-2008 10:51 PM

Im in LOVE!!

IowaSciontist 05-18-2008 02:49 PM

Thanks again guys.

As for color match, I will put the stock steel fenders back on when I do my next rebuild, this winter. And I will paint the hood minus a little in the vent to show the carbon.

VIP_CAMO 05-18-2008 04:01 PM

nice kit ..the wheels are bad ___ ....not feeling the grill to much though

IowaSciontist 05-18-2008 04:20 PM

LOL, most people don't. I like it, plus, it's plus its original.

burstaneurysm 05-19-2008 08:16 PM

I notice you have fake ESAMS... :lalala:

IowaSciontist 05-19-2008 11:19 PM

YES, YES I DO. I don't mind paying alot for wheels, a kit, wing, etc, but I can in no way condone spending $300 on plastic visors. Not that I wouldn't rather have the real thing, but why pay that much for plastic?

El_Jorge 05-20-2008 02:18 AM

Sik dude. I like the Sub box. You imported that right?

btw: is anyone still selling the hood spoiler/wiper cover you have?

IowaSciontist 05-20-2008 02:25 AM

Yes, the Sub came from Japan. And no, I know on no one selling the hood wing.

El_Jorge 05-20-2008 02:53 AM

dang. well, i might have to look into getting one of those sub boxes. looks dang nice,

Keep up the work on the b.

1_kLEan_tC 05-20-2008 02:55 AM

Looking really nice!....

MR_LUV 05-20-2008 03:23 AM

Keep up the Good Work!

Actually I do feel the Grille and Tails, Nice Contrast
Certainly different than Most. No matter what anybody says,
you don't have to Match everything.
You got your Style, I got my Style, and everyone eise has theirs.
I especially like the Hood Wing which I will also consider for
my LUV MOBILE project. Still a lengthy Modding adventure.

Keep up All the Good Work!

MR LUV

Hehehe, you KNOW I had to give you a hard time about that. :D
My ESPAMs are in the mail as we speak.

Hi burstaneurysm,
But, how can you tell from looking at the photos
what's the difference?
Just curious, that's all. :ponder:

TIA,

MR LUV

burstaneurysm 05-20-2008 03:15 PM

The biggest difference is that the real ones have vent holes at the top. It's hard to tell, but it's there.

Other differences include a rubber squeegee type thing on the ridge that touches the window, real ones clip on instead of tape, and the name ESAM is embossed on the visor.

CHPRBOX8 05-20-2008 03:22 PM

I didn't win squat but a door prize.

As far as the fenders, they will go up in the winter, but they have holes in them for the flares.

SuperMario6582 05-21-2008 01:32 AM

love the kit

hwybox 05-21-2008 10:19 AM

Da_Mac 05-21-2008 11:15 AM
