Has anyone seen or bought for hhe xA the side window deflectors that will keep rain out when the windows are about an inch down. possibly they ren't out for such a new vehicle. JC Whitney doesn't list them for the Scion. Possibly a diferent vendor or manufactuer. TIA, MMark S.

Have you guys had the window visors on other cars? I wanted to know if they really help and make a difference. I asked in the xB thread and no one repled which kind of made me think they weren't worth it...

Does anyone know if installing them does permanent damage or if the install can be done pretty easily?

Thanks!

:D

I have them on my Tacoma and they are great when it rains. I can actually open my windows a couple of inches and not worry about getting wet.

How so, Jason? Is that funny in a "your father's old boat" kind of way or more like a practical nerdy kind of way...

hmmm i would have to say... in a practical nerdy kind of way... iono... ok cause you have a box car right then you have these visors protruding from the window that dont even go all the way back and for some reason it makes it look funny imo at first i didnt like it but then after seeing it on my dads expo it looked alright and it could be put tp good use i wouldnt have to slow do to 60 or 70 just to smoke a cigg while driving, i could keep my steady pace at 80 but anyways i think they still look a little funny but theyre alright

are they detachable? how easy is it to put on and take off? anyone?

I have them in my other cars/trucks and they do work well. It helpe even if you are not a smoker, just to get some fresh ait in the car. They are not thathard to put in, you don't have to drill or anything.
