No... you're not removing the weather stripping. It's the vinyl tape around the exterior door frame. You don't have it because it looks like you drive a BSP.

Yeah, the BSP owners were lucky. They didn't get that crap put over their window frames. I should have charged Scion for my 2hrs. labor to remove it. LOL Here's a pic

BSP stands for Black Sand Pearl...
Also, for your enlightenment: SM - Shadow Mica, PW - Polar White, BOP - Blue Onyx Pearl, BCP - Black Cherry Pearl, SRP - Salsa Red Pearl, TCM - Thunder Cloud Metallic, Camo should be pretty self explanatory. By the way, that's just the boxes, and not including RS paint (Hot Lava, Solar Yellow, Envy Green and Torched Penny)

Already did 2 post prior. See the body color around the side windows. That is what gets covered with that BS vinyl stuff.

^ Stupid like putting it on? Or taking it off?
I'd assume it was put on there in order to create the illusion of a large monocolor window area. It's more seamless that way.
Others like having the color show through.

actually I think its there because the quarter windows have a black outline on the glass (where the sealant is) and it just makes them look a little better doing that, more even

and BB2ner you left some of the tape on yours, rear door, the strip between the stationary glass and the window glass

I'm still trying to figure that out. Just like they put a hole in my rear hatch for a useless wiper that you can't even change the blade with a refill.

Not sure if that skinny strip has body color on it or not. Looked like it was painted black but it looks ok to me like that.

I hate that damn wiper... for one thing, already broke it off once.... while cleaning I had it lifted out so I could clean behind it, got distracted, leaned over it, and without barely any force accidently broke it off... the other thing I hate about it is that its useless as is, and with subs in the back its even more useless... combine all that with the fact that when you actually do use it.... it leaves behind a big ugly run mark down the hatch from the dirty water...
