Default VSC, TRAC.Lights on.

Went to drive home from work tuesday and upon start, The eng. running rough, the check eng. light came on immediately , then VSC and TRAC lights came on 30 seconds or so later. Any Ideas ?? Stock intake, No eng. mods. Axle back (been on for 2 years). Ran fine as usual that morning. Had some light rain on way in. Any Ideas appreciated,

I have a ScanGauge, which doubles to give me mileage, engine functions (temperatures, voltage, odometer, etc.), and also gives me cel/mil codes. I got what you described with a crankshaft position sensor error, but it probably also happens with a number of other error codes.

Mine was doing this and it ended up my crank position sensor was faulty. The dealer is replacing it under warranty, but they charged me $106 to use their scanner (re-tar-ded).

Mine started doing this after 75,000 miles. I read on here to make sure you crank your gas cap until it clicks a bunch of times. It works. I crank it for only a couple clicks, the light comes on.
I think I've read that 2006 and newer, it will be the crank position sensor. But our older boxes, mine is a 2005, trying cranking the gas cap closed.
