my guess...either your pump is bad....or you have a clog in the line

do you hear the electric pump motor working when you use the switch?

Try disconnecting one of the lines to a squirter and see if fluid comes out when you press washer button. It's either a blown fuse, clogged line/ nozzels or bad motor.

Rickman223 -

hope all is well. ever find out what was wrong? i've got the same issue. fuses look good and lines appear fine. no disconnects or kinks.

thanks.

Someone prob waxed the hood and got wax in the nozzles. Take a sewing needle and poke the holes in each nozzle, there are three small holes in each nozzle.

you should hear a hum if the problem is NOT the fluid pump. there is probably some kinda flow problem then. The "hum" that you hear is prolly the pump being dry. I could be wrong, but this used to happen w/my civic so i think it may be flow. Unless, there is not enough vacuum then it would be the pump.

Sounds confusing but do you know any one that has a stock one that works? this could help with the diagnosis by swapping pumps etc.! Also, you could buy a new one and "test fit" it. this would allow you to determine if it was the pump cause the new one would work. If you got the same prob then you could just return the "unused" one.

Default Update...

for those interested...

bought the motor & pump assembly from the dealer. part# is 85330-20470. cost was a few cents under $48.00. not too hard to replace, either. system now works beautifully. take care, all.

Good to hear you got it fixed but very strange that it went bad.
Sounds like the previous owner tried using the pump too much when empty and burned it out prematurely.
