Default well crap!! sortta

Well about two weeks ago my box was broken into. it happened in my driveway while i was sleeping. several things were stolen and window was busted. called the popo and the geko theb while waiting for the first available appointment which wasn't until the tuesday after columbus day it was keyed front to back side to side. i wound up paying two deductibles for the repairs that part was/is crappy. but int he end i am a happy camper as the car has a better than factory paint job and the broken stuff inside was replaced so all is well and i have my baby back.

that's really ____ty, is your car near a window? I'd invest in a security system for your xB or set up a decent webcam pointing at your xB and have it recording all night long. I've heard stories of people who have their car broken into while in their driveways at night and it's often a crime that gets repeated of the thief isn't caught.

I have 4 security cameras around my property, aimed at the street/drive/pool/shop, you can get security cams from radio shack that will record, sams also sells an item that lets you record onto a 100 gig hard drive and view it over the net

What a bummer. I had my side window busted out and I was still finding glass a year latter.

well, i am glad to hear that everything worked out okay. i have heard a lot of horror stories about cars and xbs in general being broken into and it makes me cringe to think that someone would do that.

I had my chevy suburban broken into, they got the mother load . All JL amps
and speakers, monitors, ps2,cds,dvds... I couldn't fit that dam thing in my garage! I had statefarm and they replaced everything and then some. Couldn't afford the GAS
but the good news is we went to war 5 years ago and we should see a dramatic decrease in prices! YEAH RIGHT!!! Well I sold my big box that took $107 a tank to fill up and got my 06 xB. Now I can practicully park the xB sideways in the garage!

I've gotten lucky, I've had my back window busted out of the box but only because the illegals thought it smart to weed eat the gravel, and I've still got my gas guzzlin beast, and the only way anyone will get that title is when they pull it from my cold dead hands, to bury me in my truck!

car thieves will wait 2-3 weeks for you to replace what they stole, then they come steal your new stuff....

everyone has a different brand they like, do research, not on here, go around to a few install shops and ask which is best, and which has the best features that it either comes with or you can add later, such as rain sensors that roll up the windows when its raining, or tempature sensors that roll them down a little when its hot out
