what car did you trade or sell to get your xb
The truth here! I traded in a '99 Dodge Ram 4X4 for a BSP '06 xB(version A). Kept that for 6 months. Traded that in on an '06 Toyota Tacoma 2X4. Kept that for 3 months and hated every day with it. Traded that in on another BSP '06 xB (version C). Got to love that xB!
My previous car was a 1996 Chevrolet Lumina LS.

I sold it to my brother who lives only about a mile from the Toyota dealership where I picked up my 2004 BOP xB.
The Lumina was still running well and it had a nice interior but the air conditioning had a large hole in the condensor and it wasn't worth it to me to repair it. I was ready to move on and had decided on the Scion xB well before they started selling them in Ohio. My brother lives in Pennsylvania where they were available earlier so I got mine in May of 2004.
I'm glad I sold the Lumina. The xB is much better suited to my needs. And of course the fuel mileage is better too.

I've seemed to notice that everyone is selling their accords. I sold my silver 1997 Nissan Altima GXE. twas somewhat loaded, but things were going south, like an odometer that worked half the time... (thing still said 145,000 after three months), I just changed the automatic antennas (thank god they got rid of those) and the tires were going bald. A downgrade in some aspects (less power, went from a 2.0L I4) but an upgrade in others (more room, funner to drive, not breaking down)
edit: has anyone seen these cars in a color OTHER than grey on the road?

i traded in my 01 Jeep Wrangler SE 4 cyl.
it is amazing how differently the two different 4 cyl engines handle the aerodynamicaly challenged design.
not having constant wind noise is a big plus too.
not to mention the difference in gas milage, for them both being 4cyl, there is a HUGE difference.

I sold a 1980 corolla wagon for $1300. It seems to be a popular car in Chicago.
It was all rusted on the bottom. I drive to the store and someone always asked to
buy it. I'm happy with the xB.

I sold a '95 Lincoln Mark VIII LSC and bought my xB to save some jack on gas. I don't regret it.
The LSC obviously was much more comfortable and had more toys but we use the xB for tooling around town and it's perfect.
