2002 SVT focus. I liked the car, just wasn't sure about it's reliability.

I sold my 95 Ford Ranger ex-cab 2x4 and my brothers 98 Dodge Dakota ex-cab 4x4 (he moved to Japan), paid some bills and put a healthy amount down on my xB.

I sold my 1988 BMW 528e. It had just turned 200k miles the day before I sold it too! I got $2000 for it. It was just becoming a pain to keep up with the maintanence on it. It would have cost me about $6000 to fix all powertrain and body work needed on it. So I said "F it, I'm gettin an xB" and put an ad in the paper. It sold in 3 days! Im gonna miss that car though. Drove from St Louis to New york, Chicago, Atlanta and Miami in it.

I traded in a 2005 Focus ST loaded with everything but leather seats. The best thing I could have done. Im getting better milage now with the xB then I could only have dreamed about in the focus. My interior is much better, the fell of the car is even better. As for not having the 155 or so HP I had, I dont miss it. I have learned how to drive with the power the xB has. I will still love to take the xB up to the 1/8 track here. IT will be just for ____s & giggles. As long as I can run in <13 I will be happy. Im trying to figure out, if it would be possible to get redneck69 out of work on a friday night, so Im not the only box out there.

2001 ford taurus...dark red with tan leather, 50K miles, and a sunroof.....the thing drove, handled, and got poopie for gas mileage....but since it was a hand me down from pappy....who bought it new...then decided next week that he wanted a truck instead, so he went and got a truck...so we were stuck with 4 cars....so everytime i went somewhere i took that, so it kinda just fell into my lap....

got 9 when i traded it in, only had to finance 5k.....

the only thing that i would change would be that i would want a glass sunroof in the scion

Bought a xB with aftermarket sunroof, bastards had exactly what I wanted and bought 2 months before I wanted to. Then Sold my 2000 Echo with 135,000 miles to my GF who got rid of her VW Jetta.

Glad I did, I haven't seen a xB on the lot in some time, they are all sold before they get off the truck.

So I guess I fell to the American gas guzzler phase. Echo 39mpg --> xB34mpg
