What is this clunking noise??? Please Help!
I have this clunking noise that sounds like a small hammer tapping the bottom of the front of my XB. It mostly happens on sharp turns and when I'm excelerating after a stop. The dealer replaced the right front strut in hopes it would help but I still hear that small clunk everytime I drive. Does anyone know what could be the cause?
Thanks, Brad
Thanks, Brad
although you probably have a fairly new car I would still have someone take a look at your cv axle joints. These things make a clicking noise before they quit completely. Not actually listening to it is making this just an educated guess. CV joints make noise if they are bad usually during turns and acceleration.
