When were you convinced you wanted a scion? I remember my first encounter was at an auto show and I knew I wanted one but wasnt going to act on it. I just liked it!

Right after the release date I was looking for photos of xB/bB's when I found this


I was convinced I wanted a black one! Its doesnt work out that way but these 2 photos inspired me and Id like to see your top photos that you find yourself always looking at and feeling really inspired.

 

i no longer have (or can find) the magazines but they were in superstreet. it was the xB in the 1st pic you posted it tickled my pickle but i left it at that then after a while i saw the white xB from greddy in another superstreet magazine and that did the trick thats when i knew i wanted a white xB and now i have one in my driveway

btw this is a good topic and what show were you at when you took that pic?

man cheif,,,that greedy box is the euro version from france, I've been in that thing, it's alil different in the inside esspecially the door panels and the material...nice car, great choice.

Well, I honestly HATED the xB before I saw it in person. Seriously, it just didn't make any sense to me - I thought it was hideous. I liked the xA much more, and it was what I originally went to look at when my local Scion dealership opened up.

I wasn't even in the market for a car - but the second i saw the two in person, I know that xB was what I wanted. In person, it just looked SO much better - maybe it's the realization that it's much smaller than it looks in pictures. Anyway - two days after laying my eyes on it I put my deposit down

just like my friend i was either going to choose the mini of the xB and he didnt like them both til he saw my cousins mini and i got my xB and when he saw them both in person they change his perspective on the two

I wanted an xB since I saw it in a Stylewagon issue I bought on clearance for $3. After seeing it at the L.A. auto show all I could do was wait for it to come out, and then I bought it... nice to see a good ride make it over.

I totally agree.....but the defining moment for me was when I was at the 2003 CES and the Pioneer xB and the Greddy xB were showing in the Car Electronics hall.

After hating the idea of owning a car my dad liked, i stood at the dealership for 10 minutes looking at the car and started laughing and that's when it grew on me. Then out of nowhere, my mom _____ slapped me upside the head and I couldn't get rid of its image so I bought it.
