what would be a good exhaust for 04 xb to give it the import sound?

I would say Tanabe did it best for this generation xB. Flowmaster is a little different. With as small as this motor is, if you are going to have a full exhaust, there isn't much you can do with pre-manufactured exhausts to have them sounds crazy. You'd have to go custom. I would check out YouTube videos for sound clips and see what you think. Look at some performance parts dealers to see what brands they make for the xB1 and then YouTube them to see what people have posted up.

Flowmaster is known to be a loud exhaust. And I agree on checking some Youtube vids for the sound.
