80mph I average about 25MPG. If the wind is blowing hard I can get down to 23. Anything above 80mph i am averaging about 20mpg. 65mph is about 33mpg and 62mph is the sweet spot with an average of about 36mpg.

I don't ever drive 80, no less an entire tank at 80. However, I'm curious at to what "you're" getting at a whole tank at 80.

Drive 80 here in PA, and get caught, it'll cost a little more than $350.

Mileage won't matter much then.

Anyways, anything above 70, mileage drops bad.

I did that traveling from Denver to San Deigo. I gassed up around 250 miles with a little over a 1/4 of a tank left.

i'm at 34. Most of my commute is highway, but it's not interstate highway. there are a lot of lights, and stop, and go.

full interstate i can get 35-36 i've even averaged at least once 39. something. full interstate meaning no lights, no traffic, occasional toll booth. i can easily do 35-36. this is also going 60-70 mph.

my buddy has an 06 salsa red xb. he's got a manual, and i've got an automatic. it's funny cause he is a professional hockey player in the nhl. i don't wanna name drop or say his name. he's not a big name, and he's pretty much a 4th line forward, and unless you watch his team or the other team he played for you probably don't know him.

the reason i bring this up is because a lot of his teammates are out driving big suv's. most professional athletes do drive suv's, and he used to have a suburban, but said he didn't wanna waste his salary on gas. he's not a big money guy he's making the league minimum, but he still makes almost 10 times more than me. everyone laughs at him in the xb on the team cause they're driving big trucks, and suv's, and 100k dollar porsche's. when you're driving a car that's a hundred grand the xb looks funny.

he says he's happy with it cause in the offseason he drives it back home cross country, and it's getting him over 36 constantly with the manual. he's very satisfied with it.
