Just curious what kind of promotions were going on when you bought your Scion. I was told 3 free oil changes but never received any vouchers or anything about it or for it.

Actually you did. Look in the back of the Maintenance book that came with the car. It will be in there. 3 free oil change stamps.

yeh.. that's a scion-wide thing ... when you go get an oil change and they try and charge ya ... remind them ... it'll be free .... service dept.'s tend to forget since they deal with lots of people I spose ... but they will honor it

careful of that "free tires for life", cos the deal is that you have to have all of your services done by the dealership, as recommended by Scion. If you do that anyway, than it is a great deal.

This is straight from the Scion website. I hope this helps...

Q: What is Scion's complimentary oil change program?

A: Our philosophy of going beyond what you expect from a traditional car company continues even after you purchase your Scion. So we’re currently providing three complimentary oil changes*, which can be obtained at any Scion or Toyota dealership any time within the 3-years/36,000 mile warranty period. In fact, this benefit is even transferable upon change in ownership, provided the vehicle is still under the basic warranty period. Please note though, that you are responsible for the cost of any other maintenance required, including additional oil changes. For more information on Factory recommended scheduled maintenance, please visit your Scheduled Maintenance Guide located in your glove compartment.
You may also want to view the following FAQ link on the Warranty Coverage FAQ (Frequently Asked Question).
(*Oil change includes changing the engine oil, replacing the oil filter, and drain plug gasket.)
