Amplifier for stock speakers
Bb Badges

Thats it for now, I want to do more but don't know which route to go first, I got subs waiting to go in

 

I honestly don't recall for sure.
Something along the lines of:
new grille
debadge
painted hubcaps black
progress rsb
painted engine cover.

 

I spent a little under a thousand on those mods alone

 

WHEELS AND TIRES, EIBACH SPORTLINE SPRINGS,EXHAUST, K&N DROP IN,AND A DC SPORTS STRUT TOWER BRACE, ABOUT $1700

 

I don't remember for sure but I think it was:

1. Rims
2. Drop springs
3. Rear wiper plug
4. Grill
5. Carbon fiber hood

That set me back about 2 grand but was a nice start.

If you guys had to do it all over again what would you do different

 

When i originally got my xb i wasn't planning to mod it at all just a stereo and that was it. now got lots of stuff on it and still going strong. lol

 

1) swapped out the awful and heavy chrome 18s for light 17s $0
2) swapped the 205/40 17s for meatier 215/45-17s for ride quality $120 fr$90rr
3) changed the head unit as the stock one was acting funny $119-gift for xmas
4) lowering springs $158 and DIY install
5) hub spacers and tail light tint the same day $45-$10 DIY install

 

When i bought my box there wasnt a heck of a lot to buy for it. Certainly not the amount there is today.

Injen SRI .. i actually had to talk to the guys down in Nopi to get the first flat black one shipped out to comsumers. $175 i think.

Tein H Techs. $150.
Scion Cargo Liner $75
TYC Tails $125
BSA Wheels with 215/45R17 NangKangs. ** Dont buy the NangKangs. 10K miles in and i was spinning my wheels on dry pavement! If the roads were wet, fuggedabowdit.

here's how i THINK it went.
after i put some of my old mods back in,
front and rear speakers, grounding kit

my new box mods are...

debadge - 0 best 0 i ever spent!
spray painted my tail lights red - 8 bucks. red paint. woot!
Dual halo sonar headlights - 120 from eaby. or 140. awesome!
internal cold cathodes from ez baked i think. they look cool and were cheapish 120
then HIDs for like 120. cheapness, look great. little fritzy though.

also chromed my front grille, but IDR when that happened, so i figured i should mention it. 10 bucks
oh and somewhere in there i installed a sub/amp setup MYSELF :D i think it came before the HIDs. once you start modding you cant stop! I installed everything but the speakers myself


what would i do different?
i'd buy two scions.

 

1. 3M window tint(back 5 windows+ visor) = Free- Toy/Scion dealer agreed to it:-)
2. Suspension(Tokico's + Eibach pros + H-brace + TRD rear anti-sway bar) = $1000
3. TRD drop in air-filter = $45
4. Wheels
5. xA factory bra = or is it "bro" since I'm a dude :-)

Those are the first five, but I have about 5 more since then.

3. perrin sri.. 125 ( would have been 100 but i did next day shipping.. and it came a week later.. ____ing idiots haha)

i really havent done much else with the box other than those mods..

i have a pioneer head unit, and mtx sledgehammer subs with an mtx amp.. that was a total of 445.

then i debadged the car, and have a bb grille, a few stickers here and their.

oh and a windshield sticker that reads "toaster mafia"

3. Dropped it like it was hot! 2" drop front and rear
4. DVD player, and flip down screen
5. Injen CAI and catback exhaust
