what would be better
fog lamps or vent ducts for the front breaks, i could really see vent ducts in place of those fog lamps (boy i just answered my own question :D )
could this idea work or have it been brought up before, you know, cause i'm too lazy to look for it lol

it would be pretty tough getting air from that location to the brakes. i'd prefer to go for the fogs there and switch to slotted/crossdrilled rotors. that will help cool the brakes better. also switch to alloy rims if you haven't already. cross-air passes through much easier than through the wheel covers and steel rims.
Brake cooling ducts would be easy to do. The inner panels are thin plastic so making holes for the hoses is not a problem. Just be sure you have the hoses laid out so the tires don't hit them at full steering lock in each direction. Be sure to trim the light mounts from inside the holes to clean up the look and add air flow.
Now on to the practicallity of it. Solid rotors gain little from vent hoses and normal driving will not gerate enough heat to need the extra cooling and providing cool air to one side of solid rotors could warp them if you get them really hot and cool them too quickly. Vented rotors cool evenly from the inside out.
If you want increased brake power with low cost get some Porterfield Brake R4S carbon/kevlar pads. If you want to have really powerfull brakes you need a total upgrade.
If you are just doing the vents for the "bling" factor-go for it but don't expect increased braking power and don't overheat your brakes.
