Default What would make you sell your box?

I am wondering would what make someone decide to think about selling it an XB? (for those who have thought about it)

I love mine and am just starting some light mods due to it still having a warranty but I had a VW that I tricked out and then sold because I wanted to get a new car with more hauling room, less miles etc even though I really miss it.

I guess I am just wondering what people are getting tired of (of if they are) that would make them want to sell a box.

I know I would like more power, better gearing for the highway but that's about it. I am just wondering if these things (or any other things) wear on you after a while and make people start questioning getting a different car?

I'd probably sell the Box so that I can buy a new Tahoe. I need the extra room, power and a 3rd row seat...
Come to think of it, I don't wanna get rid of the Box...

I have only owned mine since Feb07 and haven't thought of any reasons on why I would sell it but if somebody doesn't stop keying it I will seriously think about selling it and looking for a '80-'82 Tercel. I have been keyed 3 times in the last six month and it is really making me mad. If I had a old Tercel and it go keyed I probably wouldn't car too much. Hopefully I will have the xB for a long time unharmed.

man, i am right there with you, swartzautoman. this box is mine for life. we are soulmates. all the love and hard work that has gone into has made like one of the family. so no amount of $$$ is worth my box (except for like anything over $20ish k).

sciond, you got me thinking and i remember reading in the automagazine that the cube should be released as a 2008 model in the US. so, i guess you might be selling your box to get a cube pretty soon!

You Sir are not crazy. Just in love with one of the best cars ever made. I'm with you.
I'm already planning ahead. I want to pick up a low mile replacement motor now and just store it away for when mine gets 400K or so miles. Then I could drop it in and be new all over.
The ONLY thing that could get this one away from me would be enough cash to buy 2 more, An RS1.0 and an RS3.0. My 2 favorite xBs in the world.
Yeah, like that's gonna happen.

It would take . . . uhhhh . . . money.

*ALL* my possessions are for sale; IF the offer is high enough!
(And if you're wondering what about my wife; forget about it: she's not my possession -- I'm possessed by her!)

I always burry my cars - run them until they rust away and then hang onto them for another 6 months before Dougy puts them out to pasture.

Being in the market for a car to replace my wife's 03 Accord has given me opportunity to check out a lot of cars. I think the new 08 Accord looks like a cross between a Volvo and a grandpa-style OldsmoBuick. The Camry is a great car, but to me looks it like a bloated version of the previous Camry.
I also looked at Jettas and Rabbits and Passats, but I dunno.
We keep coming back to 1st gen xB's. The more I drive other cars, the more I appreciate my PW 06. To answer the question, nothing out there compares to my xB for what we look for in a car. Nope, wouldn't even trade straight across for a new 2nd gen.
