Crap I should have pushed for a better rate. I put a lot down, too! I guess I was a bit too eager. At least I got a better rate than the finance sheet they posted in the showroom.

4.5% through credit union. This was way better than the 7.9% that Toyota was offering and I have excellent credit.

Hmm, maybe I'll do the credit union thing next time. Hopefully I won't buy again for another 5 years or more (unless I starting living it up).

Same here. I have been trying to improve my cred for the past 2 years. It takes a long time. I put $1,000 down. I am going to refinance in 6 months though and get a better rate.

umm You are about right on... If I stick to min. payments (not going to though) I think it is somewhere around 23k... Well worth it though, this was the only way I could get an xB!

I've never refinanced a car before. Is it a pretty easy process? I dont want to spend all day at the bank.

I thought it was easy...
-I filled out a online application
-got approved within 1-2 business days
-recieved packet in the mail
-followed the instructions
-sent out papers to toyota and my credit uion
-Several days later everything was processed and completed
