How do you know that didn't happen the same day you took the pic? Your assuming it's been damaged for a long time. Maybe the idiot that hit him/her didn't have insurance. Or if it is his or her fault, maybe they don't have the money to cover their deductable to have it fixed. I'm rolling around with a cracked front bumper and bent fender cause a 17 year old girl backed into me and I'm still fighting with her insurance company about the money. I don't have 1,200 extra to have it fixed myself the next day, so does that mean I don't respect mine?

^^^How come your insurance isn't fixing your car then collecting the money from her insurance??? I'd never wait to fix my car because the idiot that hit me is dragging out the process.

Cause she has insurance, and they've just sent a check for the damage to the fender/bumper, but didn't include the windshield that cracked when she hit me. They are dragging their feet deciding if they are covering it or not. if they don't, then i'll get my insurance co. involved.

Man it's a shame. You can always count on something to go wrong. Driving can be so unfortunate sometimes. Insurance companies are supposed to be on top of things; when you get hit, you get fixed... simple.

Only problem is, it's not always that simple.

Tell me about it! It's impossible to have a nice car anymore, someone is bound to F*uck it up! I wasn't even driving! I was sitting in a parking lot and the girl backed out of her spot into mine. I have to put up with her insurance though, I can't turn it into mine if they decide they don't want to pay for the windshield. I'm already paying 286.00 a month, with never a ticket, just my jeep accident last year. If I make a claim on mine, it's sure to go up.

Dude, you cannot blame someone for having to ride around in a damaged car. I'm totally obsessed with my car and cars in general, have been since I was 14. Three weeks ago some woman I've never met before stuck her head in my office and asked who drives the white Xb, I knew that wasn't gonna be good. Anyway, she was attempting to parallel park her Lincoln Town Car and jumped the curb, gunned it and ripped the driverside corner off my rear bumper. I had to wait 3 weeks for Geico Xpress to get me an appointment, in that time I had to drive around the box with a tore up rear bumper. It's not necessarily his/her fault.

Exactly, it is no big deal cause they can't use the number for anything. I never hide mine in pics.

Ya' mean ya' haven't heard about the big xB theft ring???
Yeah, they're lookin' for pics of the nicest ones on the internet, and, using their sources within law enforcement agencies, tracing them through the license plates. Then they send a truck to the house in the middle of the... WHAT WAS THAT??? A FLATBED TRUCK OUTSIDE YOUR HOUSE???

Yeah, right!
Blocking license plates from pics... a true waste of time.
